Another leap forward over previous versions of this reel, the Okuma Salina 3 spin reel will satisfy serious heavy tackle saltwater anglers. Constructed from Okuma’s T480 aluminium, Okuma says the Salina 3’s expected lifespan is many times greater than traditional aluminium reels – and claims the frame and rotor system will last a lifetime. With a full carbon fibre drag system, this heavy duty spin reel is available in five sizes – from 3000 to 16000 – and is ready for serious inshore and offshore action on big fish. High-speed versions of the larger models are also available.
