The Quantum EXO baitcast reel is the brand’s first exoskeletal design. The hybrid construction takes a ‘metal where it matters’ approach, which combines an ultra-rigid aluminium alloy in load bearing areas with a lightweight composite in non-critical locations. Quantum claims this process results in a lightweight frame that’s 38% stronger than magnesium and six times stronger than graphite composite. Available in 100, 200 and 300 sizes with various retrieve ratios, the Quantum EXO’s high-end components, drag system and corrosion resistance make it ideal for freshwater, estuary and inshore lure fishing.
