Mercury’s Verado 350 SCi outboard has hit Australian shores and will be displayed on this year’s boat show circuit starting at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (21-24 May).
This in-line six-cylinder outboard has been built to provide more power and better performance than any comparable engine, according to Mercury.
The 25″ and 30″ versions are on sale through all Mercury outboard dealers, with the 20″ model available from authorised Mercury Racing Dealers only.
“We’ve had a lot of interest in this engine because of the rave reviews it’s received,” said Ken Evans director of outboards.
It’s a high-performance engine that’s got it all, so you can be sure it’s going to be one of the stand out items at Sanctuary Cove.”
The engine’s 2.6-litre supercharged engine features electronically controlled sequential multi-port fuel injection, four valves per cylinder, double overhead cam design, a charge-air cooler and electronic boost bypass control.
Other features include patented sound-dampening, SmartStart, and Electro-hydraulic power steering and SmartCraft Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS).
