MICHIGAN USA based fly-fishing company Scientific Anglers is proud to announce the launch of its Ampere series of fly reels. Comprised of three unique models, the Ampere series will cover the spectrum of angling pursuits from stick water trout to bonefish.
The Ampere, a lightweight cast-aluminum large-arbor reel, features a Rulon-to-stainless stacked disc drag system with continuous adjustment and is available in sizes II and IV, line weights 4-9.
The Ampere Electron, a large-arbor machined aluminum reel, features a fully sealed stacked carbon fiber/stainless steel washer drag system, and will be available in sizes II through IV, line weights 3-9.
The Ampere Voltage, machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, features a fully sealed 4 and 6 carbon fiber/stainless steel washer drag system and will be available in sizes II-V, line weights 3-10.
