IT’S been a tough start to the year for the NSW far south coast, with catastrophic bushfires destroying property and taking lives.
But the region is rebuilding, and visitors are encouraged to return over coming months to enjoy all that the Sapphire Coast has to offer, including the fishing.
Marlin fishing in particular is really hotting up on this part of the coast. So why not make the trip and take part in the Eden Sport and Game Fishing Club’s 2020 Tournament in February.
This team orientated tournament promotes the tag and release of marlin, sharks, tuna and other game fish. Excellent prizes are on offer, as is a tournament dinner and lots of other activities.
The tournament is on from 14-16 February. Briefing and registration is being held on Thursday, 13 February, at 6pm at the Eden Fishermen’s Recreation Club.
