THE Gold Coast’s premier Flathead catch & release annual tournament is back for another year.
Held in the Gold Coast Broadwaters, the 2023 Gold Coast Flathead Classic will be returning from the 26th to the 29th of September where anglers will fish it out for some incredible prizes, as well as the glory of being victorious!
After returning to the precinct in 2022 following a successful year held online amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the event welcomed a whopping 680 individual anglers who were itching to get back into it in-person! Anglers return year after year making this event part of their annual calendar, with countless teams travelling solely to enter the tournament. The Gold Coast Flathead Classic is suitable for all anglers from first-timers to seasoned professionals, there is something for everyone!
With our total prize value reaching $400,000, it’s hard to miss out on a prize! We have nightly random lucky draw prizes, on-water giveaways, our major prize draw, a trip to the Solomon Islands and competition prizes for performance in the tournament!
