HELIFISH is offering its anglers the chance to double their winnings if they hook a $10,000 tagged barra under the Northern Territory’s Million Dollar Fish competition!
After several below average wet seasons, early signs are that the 2016-17 wet season is going to be a fantastic one as early season rain has already arrived in conjunction with predictions of a strong La Nina weather pattern for 2017.
Nautilus hopes this promotion helps to ignite Heli-Fishing awareness for all operators across the NT and remain long after the Million Dollar Fish competition season.
“In an average year Helifish take in excess of 1000 people, many of these are repeat clients that keep coming back year after year because they enjoy the remote access fishing that a helicopter allows,” said Helifish manager Elli Vukasovic.
“We fish at exclusive permitted locations including the untouched flood plains of the Daly River and Anson Bay fishing estuaries and coastline. Other areas frequented include Arnhem Land and a secret new location yet to be revealed,“ Vukasovic said.
“At Helifish, heli-fishing is exclusively what we do, it’s not a part time tour for us – it is our business. Our highly trained pilots/guides are fishing every day, they know what baits or lures work and which spots are fishing the best to give our clients greater chance of success.
Helifish’s fishing sites are accessed under permit from traditional custodians and allows exclusive access to these sites. This means less fishing pressure and no commercial netting.
