ROVEX says its new Air Surf Lure rods utilise the weight and casting advantages of the latest graphite rod technology to create low-fatigue casting rods for beach, rock and other land-based lure casting. Air Surf Lure rods offer the extra length to fish surf and rock, but with a design concept more akin to an estuary or snapper soft plastics rod.
The makers say the lightweight blanks are “tippy”, making them ideal for casting the latest soft plastics, hard-bodies and metal slugs.
The four-rod range includes two 8’0″ models (4-6kg and 4-8kg), a 10′ 4-8kg and a big 12′ 6-10kg rod. The added length provides distance to your cast and the butt section provides the power to manoeuvre your catch to a safe landing. The lightweight grip configurations add to the all-day castability, so all you need think about is what lures to take on your next beach walk.
