Organisers are planning to build on the success of last year’s event, which was a sell-out and attracted more than 22,000 visitors to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

TICKETS for this year’s RACV Marine Melbourne Boat Show are on sale now with organisers promising to deliver more boats this year across a wide range of on-water activities, from top luxury cruisers down to fishing kayaks, and everything in between.

Under the banner of ‘Bigger. Better. Boatier’, the show is planning to build on the success of last year’s event which was a sell-out and attracted more than 22,000 visitors to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

As reported on the Marine Business website, leading marine suppliers such as JV Marine World. Whittley Boats, Regal Marine, Streaker Marine, Geelong Marine World, Mercury Marine, Yamaha, Bar Crusher, Sundance Marine, MY Marine, The Haines Group and Mastercraft have already taken up space for this year’s show and, according to organisers, it is shaping up to be a record-breaking event.

Visitors who register will go in the draw for two prize pools available to be won including a Northbank 500C boat package valued at $51,971 or a VW Amarok V6 Sportline valued at $56,590.

Attractions and entertainment at the show include Dave Marciano, star of the US fishing reality show Wicked Tuna, who will be visiting Australia to share his stories of working as a commercial tuna fisherman in one of the toughest marine environments. TV presenter Robby Nethercote from Channel 10’s What’s Up Downunder program will be back to MC the main stage.

A new attraction this year is the 65 m zipline being installed in the exhibition hall to give would-be dare devils a unique high level perspective of the show and ending up, conveniently enough, in the Melbourne Boat Show bar. Other entertainment activities include the Isuzu Ute Iron Summit, marine life touch tanks and fishing simulators.

The show runs from June 13 to 16, 2019. For more information, click HERE.
