FISHING Impossible sees three fishing fanatics embark on the ultimate extreme fishing trip across the globe, going to incredible lengths to catch the uncatchable.
From attracting great white sharks in South Africa with a live performance from a rock band out at sea, to creating ingenious bear evasion strategies to fish for salmon in Canada, they’ll go the extra mile to get up close to some incredible marine life.
Throughout the series, our trio – The Blowfish, Jason Lewis and Charlie Butcher – travel from the clear waters of the Bahamas in search of the invasive lionfish, to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean in Thailand to seek out the Giant Moray Eel, to the sub-zero temperatures of the Arctic Circle, journeying up Norway’s coastline in the middle of winter to catch the King Crab.
Packed with adrenaline-fuelled fishing antics, camaraderie, comedy moments and a healthy dose of friendly rivalry – not to mention some of the most stunning locations in the world, Fishing Impossible is the catch of the season.
Mondays at 9:55pm, with an encore screening Tuesdays at 8.30pm on BBC Knowledge.
