THE Million Dollar Fish competition has officially been launched for a third season.
According to an article in the NT News, a total of 101 barramundi will be tagged and released into Northern Territory waterways over the next few months.
Of those, 100 will be worth $10,000 and one will be worth $1 million.
Australian cricket legend Matthew Hayden is the ambassador for the event and said he was excited to get out on to the NT waterways.
“Where won’t I be fishing?,” he laughed.
Hayden said it was a great Australian pastime and everyone should get involved.
