Sailfish to unveil S7 Limited Edition at SIBS

CELEBRATING 20 years in business, Sailfish Catamarans will launch its S7 Limited Edition at next week’s Sydney International Boat Show.

Measuring 6.95m, the S7 Limited Edition incorporates Sailfish’s Hydroflow Gen 2 hull and an enclosed glass hardtop with lockable door to form a wheelhouse.

The most radical departure from other Sailfish designs is the forward berth arrangement, which has two full-length bunks running bow-stern (as opposed to port-starboard). Offering accommodation for four adults on overnight fishing trips, this area also features an electric toilet and plenty of storage. Entry to the forward berth is via a dash cut-out and privacy curtain.

The mid-cabin and helm area has ample visibility, while the glass windows maximise the full height between the cabin and the aluminium hardtop. Side opening windows allow ventilation on hot days and a windscreen wiper is fitted as standard.

The expansive cockpit features arrangements for a sink and stove, under-gunwale lighting, gaff rack, LED work lights and a hybrid non-skid floor. Fishing features include underwater lighting, a welded cutting board with LED work light and salt tap, live well with viewing panel and internal LED light to maximise night fishing. There’s also a high-pressure deck wash.

Powered by twin Honda BF135 outboards, the S7 Limited Edition’s 350L fuel capacity delivers a range of around 490km, while the functional walkout between the engines allows anglers to comfortably work big fish all the way around the back of the boat. Divers and families will also love this unique boat access.
