THIS photo entry for Fisho’s Win a WAECO Ice Box photo comp is called “A rainy day on Sydney Harbour” and was sent in by Bradley McGuire.
According to Bradley: “We were collecting yakkas in Long Bay, when a yakka I was trying to bring in was engulfed, by a 75cm kingy, my little bait rig zoomed off … I was thinking I didn’t have a chance in hell of landing it.
“The spool almost emptied, so I tightened the drag and began getting line back, 5 mins later after line being taken and gained and taken and gained, she was boat side and netted on the 3rd attempt, to laughter, disbelief and a lot of joy in ourselves.”
