Tested: Halco Laser Pro 120 MT DD

THE new Laser Pro 120 MT DD is a great new lure from the well know Australian lure manufacturing company Halco.

Featuring three sets of Mustard ultra-fine chemically sharpened trebles, which at first I thought might be a bit on the light side, but have since proven able to handle a wide range of tropical fish including barra up to 80cm.

Weighing in at 20g it casts really well, even with a bit of wind about.

Buoyancy is rated at a slow float and this is where the Laser Pro really shines. Cast into snags and given a twitch, the lure has a great rolling action with the ability to be allowed to float over the shallower bits of sticks.

So far it has appealed to barra, jacks, golden snapper, and estuary cod. Anyone who fishes shallow water or snags should find a place in their tackle box for some of these great new lures from Halco.
