Darren Kenny caught this 120 cm barramundi, which weighed 25 kg, using a Reidy’s Big Ass B52 lure while fishing the mouth of one of our local Darwin rivers during the last set of neap tides. Darren has been chasing barra for around 30 years, and worked for many years as a professional fishing guide, but this fish is the biggest he has ever boated. Barra this size don’t come along very often when fishing saltwater rivers.
